bashT was written based upon
BashPodder
by (Linc), though very little of what he wrote remains, his code was the
inspiration for this project.
bashT was written to be small and
fast, and most importantly, to conform to the KISS rule (Keep It
Simple Stupid). That way, anyone can add to and detract from the
script to suit their own needs (and they are welcome to do so).
bashT is listed in many places as a "Linux" broadcatching
client, and currently works with rtorrent, a very powerful ncurses
based bittorrent client.
bashT is currently licensed
under the GPL.
REQUIREMENTS
bashT requires you have a Unix/Linux based system, with bash, wget, perl and sed.
